Certain disturbing images can cause a spontaneous outbreak of duff chops.

Try this experiment:

Open your case (it's quite safe to do this, even if you're at home)
          take out your instrument and play a few notes.
(remember, you should insert a mouthpiece first)
          If your chops are duff, then proceed no further.
